Courtesy her 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' look, Huma Qureshi has landed an endorsement deal for aviators
Huma Qureshi has been approached to be the brand ambassador for a leading eyewear brand thanks to her aviator look in her debut film Gangs of Wasseyur.
The newbie who played a small town, yet stylish, character in Anurag Kashyap's film apparently began a trend among young girls to sport the cool glares.
What was essentially a style statement among guys post the Salman Khan starrer Dabangg, had more girls opting for the aviator look after her film's release.
Says a source, `An eyewear brand has approached Huma to be the face of their product.`
As reported 'Flying high' (Hitlist, December 28), while visiting malls Huma was often told by shopkeepers that after her film released aviators were being increasingly being picked up by females.
Huma is presently shooting for Nikhil Advani's film as well as promoting her upcoming film with Emraan Hashmi. The actress is likely to sign up for the brand and shoot for its commercial soon.
Adds the source, `She is ecstatic that her style statement in her debut film has fetched her such a big endorsement deal.`
